Dr. Claney specializes in high masking adults who have gone a long time working really hard to not seem different.
Some of these people have managed life so "well" that their parents, friends, or employers would be surprised to know that they are struggling so much on the inside.
Some of these people have relied heavily on their high intelligence to get them through school or the first few years of professional work, but recently it's felt like they can't just keep pushing through.
Some have become well-practiced at copying how others act or using scripts to manage the expectations of conversations or social interactions.
And many have thought they may be neurodivergent but aren't comfortable self-identifying as ADHD, autistic, or AuDHD without a specialist's assessment.
You will start with a consultation call with our care coordinator, Ally, where you will identify the right package and schedule all of your appointments. Then, you will receive a digital packet of intake paperwork to complete prior to your first appointment
During the testing phase, we gather both objective and qualitative data through interview, symptom checklists, norm-referenced measures, interactive measures, and collateral interviews. We score, compare, and interpret all data points to ensure the results are consistent and accurate
Dr. Claney will write up your results in a customized report that best highlights the findings and answers your questions. You receive a copy of the report and have a feedback session to review it, ask questions, and get recommendations for next steps
